What Information We Gather from You
We do not track your activity on this web site other than by IP address. We do not use Cookies to record your usage patterns.
However, we do request information from you when you purchase a product license. If you do not wish to provide the requested information, you will not be able to acquire the license. The information we request from you is:
- technical information about your computer (provided by running a macro)
- your e-mail address (provided by your input)
Additionally, when purchasing a product license, you will be asked for credit/debit card details, however, we do not retain any of these details.
Why We Gather Information from You
We require technical information about your computer to issue you a product Activation Code unique to your PC. This protects us from software piracy.
We require your e-mail address for security, in order to send you a duplicate confirmation of the purchase of your product license, and if you ever need to reinstate your Activation Code in case it is lost or destroyed.
Confidentiality of Information Gathered From You
The information gathered from you and your computer will be treated with strict confidentiality. It would only ever be used for the purpose of reinstating your Activation Code.
Macrophobia Ltd. will not sell, distribute or disclose information about you or your computer without your written consent or unless expressly required to do so by law.
Buying On-Line
Buying on-line with a credit/debit card is just as safe as, if not safer than, ordering goods by telephone.
Security
Macrophobia Ltd. uses SSL and 128-bit encryption to ensure secure transaction processing.
Credit/Debit Card Details
Macrophobia Ltd. does not retain your credit/debit card details. They are held only for the duration of the transaction.
No Refunds
Macrophobia products are provided free of charge for a 30 day trial period to allow potential customers to evaluate and test a product before purchasing a license. Macrophobia Ltd. recommends that you evaluate and test a product during the free 30 day trial period to ensure that it works to your satisfaction on the computer on which you intend to use it.
Macrophobia Ltd. enforces a strict no-refunds policy. No refunds will be made once you have purchased a license. All sales are final.
Ownership
Macrophobia products, their components and related documentation are owned by Macrophobia Ltd. The person or entity purchasing a product license does not buy a copy of the product, but rather a license to use the product.
